Adrian was a man of remarkable vision and it is a pleasure to donate to a charity than seeks to fight against the illness that so sadly got the better of him. The world is poorer without him
Adrian was my boss at St Pancras station and a very good boss he was as well. We met at various places after we had both moved on and he was always friendly and keen on every occasion. R.I.P. Adrian - your legacy will live on.
Raised for the event: https://www.funeralstream.tv/shooterAs Chairman of The Ironbridge Railway Trust. I would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the help and advice Adrian gave us, togther with the honor we had from having him as our President. He will be greatly missed.
I feel very privileged to have had Adrian as a boss and to have worked for him as an independent consultant. Had that amazing ability to point out the things you’d overlooked but give you +ve feedback and support.
I joined Chiltern as a management trainee in February 2011, following an interview with Adrian. He gave me a great opportunity to be part of something remarkable in Chiltern Railways. Adrian was a truly a visionary, inspirational leader, showing nothing was impossible, providing unfailing support to show what a force for good a railway can be. I shall always be in Adrian's debt. Thank you, Adrian, clear signals to you always.
A life well lived, leaving a enduring impression on the railways of this country and the people he came into contact with. Nothing was impossible with Adrian and I thank him for the opportunity to join part of his journey. Rest in peace.
I was lucky to know Adrian professionally, as one of his passengers and through his DHR interests. He was a leader in the industry, respected by staff and well-liked by his passengers. Chiltern was HIS success and he will always be remembered for what was the best of the privatised ventures. RIP
